Lomi Lomi is the Hawaiian word for "massage", and it is part of a larger native Hawaiian tradition of healing and natural body care. According to Hawaiian tradition, all living beings are seeking a state of balance and love in the world. During a Lomi Lomi session, therefore, I focus on not only relaxing your body through gentle touch, but also reviving your spirit and filling your body with the energy of love.
Infant Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically to promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system. I teach parents and caregivers how to massage their babies in group and private sessions.
As a birth doula, I accompany women in labor to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience. I have received education as a doula from Seattle Midwifery School, and trained in massage at The Brian Utting School of Massage. I am a licensed massage therapist, certified pre and perinatal massage therapist, and certified infant massage instructor.
My mission is to use my massage and doula skills in concert with intuition and a three-dimensional understanding of the human body to support expectant mothers in creating a peaceful pregnancy and birth. I draw on my knowledge and experience to provide emotional support and physical comfort during your labor and birth using relaxation, massage, positioning, hydrotherapy, and other pain coping techniques. I am independent and self-employed. As your doula, I work for you, not your caregiver or hospital.

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.
Massage calms the mind and relaxes and rebalances the body. My style brings in techniques from Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage, Deep Tissue and Swedish.
